Holy Hell, I had to sit down and rescue my jaw from the floor! Absolutley blown away with this thread and your mindblowing talents!!

Please tell us you're gonna do a run of these helmets!!

I'd even comtemplate selling the missus into slavery to own one and if the thought of doing a run of the complete armour, I'd sell the entire family into slavery!!!!!

Also, may I ask you how many axis does your milling machine have?
 
Thanks for the kind words guys! I've got some time scheduled for working on this guy tomorrow. I'm not sure if it'll be anything substantial enough to warrant more pictures, but progress IS being made. Slowly but surely.


@Zabana - It is a 5-axis system.

@Anubis - Once the master mold is finished, we'll do a quick run of 5, maybe 10.

Wow!!5 axis is one of the best! I´m going to build in a next future a foam milling machine, I´ve got a few pieces waiting but I´m still deciding if 3, 4 or 5 axis, or maybe to buy the 5 axis controller board and begin with a 3 axis setup and in future to improve it. Is you machine diy? :D

I was wondering when some one would start one of these troopers. By the looks of it, you're just the man for the job. Awesome stuff! Oh, for those of us who aren't on facebook, is there an alternate link you can provide so we can vot for you too? :D
 
Vshore - It's actually one of the few contests that you don't need to sign up or log in, etc to vote.
