Nerf Gun Props? YES!

thanks man! I ended up using the other scope because I just couldnt get the one you gave me to stay in place. I'll be using that soon though! :)

For the can, depends a bit on what you're wanting from the finish, but rule of thumb is 2 feet!

Congratulations! Vera looks great. And the others ain't too bad, either.

Did you get that vinyl dye you wanted? How'd that work out?

Alos, technical question: how close to the parts to be painted do you hold your spray cans?

I picked up the Point Break pistol today, and was wondering what you guys think would be the best course for it. I was thinking a Mass Effect weapon. Yea? Nay?

I was hesitant to try the Vortex stuff and give up good ol' nerf darts, but I must admit the performance is pretty impressive so far.

I picked up the vigilon purely for it's lack of a painfully obvious pump handle. I'm looking at some paint schemes from the first Mass Effect for it...

Hi PhantomRonin,

I thought I would reply because no one else has yet. I picked up a Point Break this week too and was thinking Blade Runner, but I think you can't go wrong with Mass Effect :) I did a Nerf Proton inspired by Blade Runner a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to try a different shape.

Looking forward to whatever you do.

If you're making a blade runner gun, you gotta have a phone, yes? :)

Just finished it actually, heh.

I love looking at these mods and repaints. They are all incredibly unique and creative. I have just finished my first, a Nerf Recon with accessories.

I love the way it looks. Only problem I have is when used the paint scrapes off of moving and rubbing parts, and the parts seem to fit tight. The release switch on the clip is sticky; clip also sticks.

Hope you like.

Best,

That's a great idea! What are you going to do about the big orange plug on the top? Or you going to cut it or leave it? Also, should I sand down the logos on the gun, or just hide them really well with the paint?

It looks very tactical, well done! The scraping paint is always a concern, did you sand the body down before you put on paint?

Nice VidPhon, Brian :)

I had this feeling you might like that one, bud! Thanks :)

Ok, so here comes a few more photos from today...some fairly simple for their purpose and some that have a bit more going on, design-wise
