Holy Mother of God (Chow Yun Fat) - that Multipass is amazing. That was an existing kit? Where did it come from?

Sorry to have been gone for so long in this thread!!

YES, that picture that was posted is of the screen used phone. Always bugged me how the antenna ended up being yellow in that photo. Just a lighting artifact or something.

The multipass you see earlier in the thread is a build up of one of the kits I offered a while back. I'm very sad to report that I am COMPLETELY sold out of those kits, though I may do another run if there is enough interest. The kits turned out really great, and I could not have done it without the support, help, encouragement and resources of the RPF. I am VERY proud of the outcome of that project, and I'm happy to see so many people ended up with great Multipasses in their hands.

As for the phone, it has since left my hands, though I did take a load of pictures of it for reference. Though I have forgotten which drive I stored them on. I'll dig around and see what I can do.

I have looked at this thread over a dozen times getting info but never posted..how rude..Fantastic job on the mulitpass! The phone looks great too, so good that I also ordered a couple of remotes off ebay so and am going to try to make one as well.

I ordered the led for the phone, but can't find the ones that look red even when off. I only managed to find the same ones that are in our multipass's. Where did you source your LED from? and where do you get the red rod for the phone..antenna?

I got the square LED on ebay from Poland as they are impossible to find in the UK. And the round one I got from a Maplin electronics store but you can get them anywhere. Any 5mm red LED should do.

I got the red rod on ebay, I'm sure it's a Plastruct rod. Search for translucent red rod.

The red rod I used is 3/16" which I know to be a little too wide. Look for something slightly narrower.

BUT !

1) No visible screws on the screen. (Except that of Korben with cord)
2) No red LED, but what else?
3) It lacks the "micro" may be an "white" LED.
4) The antenna is not at all in the same place.
5) The interuptor is not the same.

I think its an english as second langue thing, I doubt Tee wanted his post to sound as harsh as it does.

And thanks for putting all that reference in one place.

I wonder if the screws on that propstore one were replaced with those larger ones at some point.

It really doesn't look like there are any screws on the screen shots, but if they were smaller countersunk screws they would be very difficult to see.

I believe it.

Has anyone been able to find the correct light for the top? My guess is that its a small 120v neon panel indicator that they replaced the bulb in.
