This piece came with details from the creators of the Hellboy prosthethics and original shipping details from when it was shipped to the production that designated this as a hero along with the woefully inadequate standard HollywoodVault COA.
I agree that this looks identical to the pieces Rainmakers continues to sell as made for production but they were all molded and painted around the same time and I imagine that physically they are almost entirely indistinguishable.

I'm in the same boat, but my wife actually bought me Batman coasters in hopes that I would use them. I was actually more inclined to not open the package to keep them in good condition. :lol

I would definitely use BPRD coasters!

First things first. I was responding to someone else in this thread. I already have a thread in the Junkyard. Someone not seeing it, or responding there is NOT my fault.

Have a mod delete my posts if you feel so strongly. That way I'm not hijacking a thread in your eyes.

I just scored a new piece, but I'm not sure -exactly- what it is...

The belt on the left is the Hellboy replica belt, the one on the right my new acquisition. The leather itself appears the same as the hero Hellboy belt, but the thinner, outer leather belt is sewn vertically every 8 or so inches to the wider inner belt, not horizontally along the upper and lower edges of the narrow belt, as the hero belt was. Also the pouches are different from the hero belt in that they attach using ALICE clips, not leather straps. Also, the belt is actually made in two halves and stitched roughly together in the back with what appears to be shoestring, presumably to make it easy to quickly resize. Also, obviously, the buckle has been removed.

I just double checked the film and none of the other characters wear an even similar belt, at least not in the scenes from 1943. So... what is it? A stunt belt perhaps?
