The pieces were molded directly off a real helmet. Also, there is a stainless steel bailer bar included.
You are correct sir !...I mixed it up with the outside diameter of the fitting......although for a prop it would work, the real tubing has a decent wall thickness so it is fairly rigid.

I actually bid on that kit, because it looks like it'll be epic when completed. Its a bit over what I can pay for it now, but I'm really hoping that whomever wins will be posting their work on RPF.
