Finally started on my Gene Simmons boots....

I got some pics that the girl took of my scales. I am happy with them in the pic. My only concerns are they may be a bit grey for my liking(I'll fix that after Halloween) and two, that I sent the right measurements.

I like how she seemed the edge and the way that the snaps hide when closed.

They were sent yesterday so I should have them tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

You need to cut those front scales off, bro! Give yourself some moving room. Yes, Gene's are cut out, too.

1" by the way on the studs.
 
Beautifu! I thought they were 1".

I saw the scales cut a few different ways on Gene's, but My mobility isn't nearly as bad as I thought.

They seem to add support too.

At least you are more in proportion with your boots. At Dragon*Con there was a guy dressed as Gene Simmons in those same boots. Even with the boots, he was barely five foot tall.

I am going to fold mine in half, so it is the same size as his.

I had to do the same thing last year with a different body part when I dressed up as Tommy Lee!;)

Dude, I am lovin' those boots! I've wanted a pair of them sense '76! I even wrote a fan letter listing my shoe size and mailing address... I'm STILL waiting on them to come in. ;)

Can't wait to see the whole outfit put together!
