Hey all,

This has been a dream project of ours for years, and we have been commissioned to do it. These are a few pics of the work in progress so you can see what we are up to. The full suit will be done in the next 2-3 weeks, and we'll continue to add progress pictures to this thread for those interested.

We'll also have all 4 of the costumes at Dragon Con, possibly SDCC, and a few other conventions. We are doing movie heads, and another version of the heads as well, which will be unveiled soon as well...probably after the full suit is finally finished.

The mask will be available in cloth, not just the sculpted verrsion, the joints will have leather pads, etc. So, anyway, here are the pics of work in progress...(just started) the hands, and feet...and the head and shell are nearly complete.

Wow nice... I can't wait to see it done.

Makes me wish I didn't pass up a screen used donatello suit a couple years ago.
 
Very cool, but I think I will like more the cloth mask. Something that I really liked about the live action turtles was their masks making a knot on the back, leaving a hanging would-be-ponytail tail that implied the hairlook of ancient samurais and other Japanese warriors whom wore ponytails.
 
OMG... You just made my day. Too bad I'm too tall to be one...

You say you're making different versions of the head, does that mean each individual face? Or just from another series, like animated. To me that particular face looks like Leo or Raph. Got Raphael's cheeks but it's small like Leo.
 
That is just absolutely amazing. Probably some of the best work I have seen in a while. Can't wait to see your finished product.
 
Very cool. I'm glad somebody is doinf this. I was tempted for a while but it seems it is more of a passion for you.
