That would be one BIG prop! Unless you're talking model, of course! ;)

The original was at Universal Studios Orlando years ago... Not sure where it is now, if even still intact.

Yep, I remember, Iwas there on vacation, when I was 10 years old... That was a great piece...

Heres a french page, he wants to make the train some time ago, but I think the site is not up-to-date...

But looks nice for a first try...

You must be fairly young (which is a good thing!)... :)

When I was ten years old, the movie was still ten years off in the future! ;)

I think it was 1997 when I saw it.

Saw the original model while poking through the Universal prop warehouse back in 1994. That was an amazing day. I was sent to the warehouse to find a rusty outdoor wall sconce type light fixture. Needless to say, I took my time finding one!

Yeah - I was around Universal back then when Dreamworks was born - there were tons of BTTF props in there back then - Hoverboards - the plutonium case - with the little water rod things still in there, Biff's statue from p2, USA Today flying reporter robot and the Little Bug. I wish I could have "borrowed" more

I believe there was a licensed kit produced in Japan. I'm almost positive I've seen pics of it. I think it was made by Aoshima.

I met one of the orginal wedlers of the full scale BTTF train while I worked on a film as an extra. He invited my brother and I to his place where he showed us photos of the train in progessive stages. He then showed us in his garage one of the original hoverboard stunt boards. I'm not going to identify the person since he could get in trouble for the stuff he's kept. But I was in awe of the movies he's worked on. Cool dude. Very friendly. I wish I stayed in contact with him.

Yep, I visited the Universal studios florida with my parents in 1993. And 1996 in hollywood. And I saw the movie first when I was 7 years old. I wish I can go back, take more photos with my knowledge of the movies and props I had now and search the merchandise store again... :)

Ah, don´t we all ...

Thanks for all the input, fellas !!! I´m really curious if there´s really been a licensed model published in Japan.

"Chitty Chitty Train Train" :lol:lol

Great job by Randy as usual.

I saw the original at ILM once about 15 years ago, but no pics, sorry.
