Well, where to begin.....I'm a 46-year-old who has had a lifelong cosplay fetish from the time I was little, wanting to cosplay as either a mascot (though I don't play or watch sports, yet I LOVE the Banana Splits from 1968 and a lot of other TV shows and cartoons from that era), a stormtrooper (yes, I do love Star Wars, but b/c I'm unemployed and on disability, can't afford a set of armor right now), Spiderman (those Spidey zentai suits I COULD afford, but don't have the muscles to do it justice). So for now, I'm just going to have stick to a budget, even if it is on a shoestring.

CHARACTERS I HAVE COSPLAYED AS (AND BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD IT TOO):

•The Clock King from Batman:TAS. I absolutely very well relate to this character only because, long story short, I know perfectly darn well what it's like to be screwed over. Believe me, I most definitely have.

•Wolfgang, the Hippie Werewolf of Halloween (my own original creation). Because I grew up watching the Banana Splits, I bought a full-body werewolf costume off eBay for $150, and added my own personal old-school touches on it. I've worn at several conventions since late 2017, and even won a first-place trophy and medal at one of them and recently, February 2019, won a ribbon for best design at the the third I've already been to. (Seriously, don't laugh. I DO NOT want to have anything at all to do with Barney, Teletubbies, or Spongebob Squarepants, but then again, I absolutely AM NOT looking forward to the Syfy Channel's treatment of the Banana Splits neither. I want to keep my childhood memories intact, but also make my cosplay dreams, ever since childhood, a reality.)

A CHARACTER I THINK I CAN AFFORD TO GO AS:

•A futuristic astronaut, VERY similar to the costumes on the Expanse and Space: Above and Beyond and all decked out in black. It's going to take some time, but bit by bit, piece by piece, because I'm on a fixed income, it should all be well worth it in the end ☺

So there you have it. Looking forward to meeting any of you who could help my childhood dreams of wanting to cosplay a reality ☺
