Anybody seen this?

Dont know if exactly Studio Scale (as there is only a reference model from ILM and what we have seen in the film was CGI).
But this one from Beast Kingdom is 4 feet long (120cm) and the reference model from ILM just looks to be that same size:

Original from ILM:

With a total length of 120cm, Beast Kingdom faithfully restores all details of the Rebel U-Wing Fighter, including the battle damage appearance, with special aging coating technique. To make this 1:23 model more real, Beast Kingdom specifically makes the wings and muzzles with metal parts and equips the model with an illuminating engine to lively present the Rebel U-Wing Fighter. The metal stand enables fans to place it more safely. A metal plate indicating the serial number of this limited-edition aircraft model increases its value. Fans of Star Wars should get on this robust transport aircraft to steal the blueprint of Death Star with the rebels.

I don't see how it's patterned after the ILM model. The ILM model is far more accurate to the movie and has way more detail. The Beast Kingdom model is missing tons of engine detail.

Lovely:facepalm. This model does not even look good (not very detailed and poor paint job) and it's ridiculously overpriced, clearly targetting wannabe collectors who don't know any better

Not my model work :)
But I too want a kit in 1/24 so I'll be helping out where/when I can :)

I'm sure the prepainted offering will scratch many an itch... but I want to build the inside too!

I keep hoping someone will step up and make studio scale ships readily available. Efx can't do anything and I don't know how reputable Beast Kingdom is.

The thing is you can't really have studio scale versions of the new ships. Except for the art department models they don't exist in the real world.

Of course not. But we still don't have any A-Wings, B-Wings, VERY FEW X-Wings and even fewer Y-Wings. EFX can't even deliver a helmet after 3 years, you would think someone could see the demand for these replicas and get the license.

All the Art department models are 1/24 the model in my above post was built by me from the production models :)

Production molds? How many did you make? I mean how many were needed for production?

Well I can't argue with you there. That's why I build mine from scratch and then I only have to wait a short 10 years to get something done.

Thats awesome! I wish I had that kind of talent. I am stuck with whatever the companies decide to make.
