This is a helmet I designed and made last year. I envisioned it as being worn by a Section 9 recon operative from Ghost in the Shell. It's mostly built from EVA, and there is a mesh window in the faceplate which I can see through (though peripheral vision is a little restricted). The gold triangles are tinted film applied over Lexan, and glued using small dabs of crystal clear Gorilla Glue so they remain transparent from the inside.
I also have the basic pieces for a full costume, including a customized Nerf submachine gun and sidearm, jacket and harness, gloves, etc.
