I've had an idea and I don't know if it's possible.Using 4k screenshots and photoshop artificial intelligence to recreate a printable photo of young Jonesy for our collections.

Ok...this is just a bad try....

If the camera is locked down in those shots, it's a pretty straightforward task to get additional detail from screencaps by averaging/canceling out the grain through stacking multiple frames on top of each other. If it's not locked down you can still do it, it just requires a few extra steps. I wanted to see more of a prop in Batman, but no amount of gamma boost could help with the smoke and film grain.

So I selected a series of frames where the item in question was being held relatively still.

It wasn't perfectly still so I had to motion track and stabilize (an easy enough task in Blender) and then stacked those stable frames on top of each other. The end result is an image with drastically reduced grain and increased clarity.

I have used the manual tweaks that were available, but.....

I'm sure someone can do much better.

Made some minor adjustments/corrections to my 1st version, more exactly I toned down the fur's sharpness and did some enhancements on the face expression:
