I found this on Ebay a few months ago. Its a printed 1/1 scale kit of the Apollo Lunar Module reaction control system motor.
4 of these would be mounted, in groups of 4, around the SM and LM.

It's printed in the correct colors so I didn't paint it.

This is the basic kit:

And this is the wiring harness add on kit:

It's a quick build using CA glue, epoxy, and bolts.

It's an odd ball kit to be sure but it sure looks nice on display!

Many years ago, I came into possession of what I call plastic chain mail.

Each square was raised, and rounded—and had an inclined hole north, south, east and west.

Cloth went through each hole.

I always thought they would make great maneuvering quads…maybe with Elmer’s glue caps turned backwards as a nozzle.

Anyone but me remember that “fabric?”

An old purse deal?…I’ve misplaced it.

Here we go—

You could cover up a huge structure with these—used in EXO-MAN leggings?

I have seen other, more novel thruster lay-outs—flush with the craft skin—but not shuttle.

My brain is freezing up again.
