Are silicone mold rubbers vulnerable to UV light?

I did some research and it seems like silicone mold rubber can't handle UV light, but I wanted to confirm before completely writing off the material for this project.

Edit: The only UV stable rubbery material I could find is Clear Flex from Smooth On.

Humm, maybe that's why my Father was always storing his silicone molds in a dark, low humidity cubby

I know latex can’t handle it, I too have always been told to store molds flat and in sealed cardboard boxes
