- What inspired you - Aside from The Little Mermaid being one of my favorite Disney movies EVER, I wanted to make my very first all done by myself costume that WASN'T spandex. I absolutely HATE how this came out, and I'm already working on a second one now that I know more what I'm doing, but ta-daaa.
- How long it took - Believe it or not, I cranked it out in a day. It was last minute, and I was trying to get help from an actual seamstress, but it was a bust, so I was rushed. It was a TERRIBLE DAY for my mood that's for sure.
- How much it cost - It's made of satin, has some elastic in the sleeves, boning in the bodice, and a ribbon for tie up in the back (the pattern I used was too big even though it was my measurements, so I had to zip up and tie up and it was still too loose). I already had the wig, and I bought the petticoat on ebay. Total I'd say $120
