Avatar Props - I was desperate, ok ?

Not many props / prop replicas of this movie are there ?

Still, I loved it, and could not let my collection go so conspicuous by their absence.

So I got me 2 Mattel 'Prop Replicas' :lol

They are suprisingly well made ... & I think they look cool anyway :lol !

I agree, they look surprisingly good...much better than the box would lead you to think! I have the AMP suit but I think I need to get some of the other toys as well.

My youngest (14) went ga-ga over the Scorpion.

"Can I have it ?"

"No"

"Please ?"

"NO"

"Can I play with it ?"

"OUT !"

.... door locks.

:lol

I think they make great additions to the collection. :thumbsup You're right, there doesn't seem to be a lot of Avatar props out there. Have you considered getting any of the Noble Collection stuff at all? The Noble Collection: Product Catalog I was actually thinking about getting one or two of the daggers myself, but I've been kind of waiting to see if someone else would end up getting one and posting a review first. (By the way, on a side-note, you've got one of my favorite prop collections on the RPF. Very diverse and fun to look at. It has that kind of "a little bit of everything" feel to it.)

Hmmm. Yes you are right, those daggers look alluring. If I were you, I'd take the plunge with one, & the rest if you're pleased. They look good !

Thanks re the props Adam :). I am waiting for some stuff to arrive & the 'little bit of everything' will be complete. (HA ! There go the famous last words). I'll post pics of the room when done.

Maybe this is helpful for you to come to a decision. :)

I got lucky and found my AMP suit for 12.00 at a discount store. Its' getting modded and repainted into another mecha at some point.

I have one of the AMP suits myself and I think it's awesome. I want to find something to replace the rubbery ammo belt and it could definitely benefit from a repaint but for the money you can't beat it. For me, it's certainly a better option than the Zillion Dollar Sideshow Maquette

Ye Gods !!!!! :eek

Yep, 17.49 sounds better to me too :lol

Has a quick look at their other stuff. The Neitiri Statue looks pretty good.

Love my mech suit as well. Added alittle paint to make the weathering pop. it was a good call on my part getting this:)

They look good to me, i was not that impressed with the figures, but these will look good on display, maybe weather them up a bit or add a base, but they are very detailed as is for toys

Just 5 Dollar is a killer price. :confused Here in Germany you have to pay 40 to 50 Euro each! Just think about to import these from the US. Even including shipping, Tax and customs it will be cheaper than here.

Do you have a link, mate? Couldn't find these with the search engine at the Family Dollar homepage. :love

Try looking for these at Family Dollar, Got both for $5.00 each.
