Batman spandex suit

All of this month I’ve been planning on creating a vintage sort of 1939 batsuit ever since watching Batman caped crusader. I bought some items for this project (Grey spandex suit, black fabric, Batman caped crusader mask) only thing I need to order is the belt and a bit more fabric so I can make a cape.

I’m just trying to figure out if I have to wear the suit and pin the emblem one before sewing (as spandex is stretchy) or if I can just lay it out, pin it down and get to work also trying to figure out which logo to use

Just laying it out should be fine. Don't think you will have to put it on. And personally i like the the bottom emblem the best.

Thanks for the advice! and yeah I asked a friends and the common opinion is to use the bottom emblem
