Unbelievable! This stuff looks great - although the dry time between stages might be a turnoff for projects on a deadline. Thanks for sharing!

To me, this looks like the same as alclad or any of the other chrome paints, but instead of mixing the pulverized aluminum powder in a medium, they mixed it in a fast evaporating liquid like DNA. Id like to see him wipe his finger across the chrome and see if it wipes right off.

MirraChrome and all derivatives of it have been readily available off the shelf for a long time. Its tried and true, its what you see on all those chromed cars in the Middle East.

great to know! i looked for some youtube videos but it shows MirraChrome used in airbrush. can it be brushed on too? and what are some of the other derivatives? can they be brushed on too?

Used it on something Terminator related that I thought I would show off this weekend :)

Hey Terminator, curious to see your result. I'm currently comparing different chrome paints for a project and I want to give this one a shot. Did you end up using a spray can and if so, which one did you get? because when I checkout their online store, I find no less than 5 different chrome paints :

I've very recently discovered molotow liquid chrome pens(also have spray cans)
Also a HELLA lot cheaper :)

6 bucks for the small one, 13 for the big one!? Hella cheap indeed! Absolutely a no brainer so I purchased some to test out. Thank you for linking the vid, I had no idea these were even a thing! I am curious how well they will perform over a proper glossy black base coat and how durable it is. I usually hand paint my chrome for weathering and such but this looks a LOT more convenient.
