C.B. deMille - personal director's megaphone replica

[MAKE BELIEVE]

I have always considered the clapboard, the director's chair and the megaphone the three most iconic items in movie history.
This original megaphone has been up for auction in Profiles in History (Icons and legends of Hollywood auction) so I decided to give it a try and replicate it. Such an iconic piece should be in every movie collection (maybe this piece that went up for auction was used by deMille do direct all those thousands of extras in "The Ten Commandments" or "Cleopatra").

That's what I love most doing on a kit / model / prop: weathering (that's also why I had a great time aging the Raiders movie clapboard)
