I have been working on my Captain Mal costume since late winter and it's finally starting to come together. My first piece I bought was the QMX replica pistol.




I also found a vintage German officer belt:



I nabbed this holster off of etsy today as well:



I have a pair of frontier trousers on their way along with some IDF suspenders that I will need to modify. I'm hoping to have it finished up by the 22nd for Can't Stop the Serenity Boston but I'm not going to rush it.

Nice find on the IDF suspenders! Where did you find them? I'm putting together a Mal costume as well for DragonCon but it will be a work in progress. I'll work on it after the Con as well.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I got them online at an army surplus store. I think they still have them in stock, you have to get the whole harness though.
