CONAN jade (style) snake amulet

This is a Retro prop replica from the 80’s from the iconic movie, Conan the Barbarian. The difference here is that I’ve made a definite effort to duplicate the COLOR of resin of the original prop. Allowing for different lighting conditions, I believe my replica is very close. Many people just use clear green resin or don’t even bother trying to match the color at all. What you see is what you get, so no cord is included, just the amulet. Being raw resin cast, no cord, and price make this a budget prop. And yet, still a nice addition to your collection. Budget props from me will be $100 or less. (Plus shipping) I plan to do a number of budget replicas in the future.

Yes, I thought about a clear coat of glossy something. But then I'd have to factor in the cost. And I wasn't sure what clear coat would be best. And my goal is to get several budget runs going. This is the first so I wanted to stay low.

Several coats of a clear coat should build up and give a jade-ish look to it.

Of course! I meant what finish would be recommended for ME to finish it after I buy!

I was thinking very thick clear coat as well.

Or maybe floor wax?
