Custom Wolverine Wig

I'm unable to grow out my hair due my job, and I've seen the eBay/store wigs on the market, but I don't want to pay some random lady online that deals with Anime Cosplay unless someone here can point me in the right direction to a good wig maker that can add a set of decent screen accurate mutton chops in with the good lookin' Wolverine doo.

Any suggestions will help me out as I'm clueless when it comes to quality wigs. Thanks in advance. :thumbsup

God Saves The Queen fashions does wigs, and she's here on the RPF... saw her Marge Simpson wig at Dragoncon and it defied gravity!

I did see a Marge Simpson photo and noticed that wig, which blew my mind. I'll have to see what she can do for me. Thanks for the tip. :thumbsup

Thanks for the recommendation and compliments. I hate to be a bummer, but I didn't make my Marge wig! The wig is manufactured by a company called Lacey Wigs. It is a very tall and hollow. It arrives flat when it ships out. The only things I did to it were to fluff out the top (I stuffed with a few plastic bags for body) and comb out the bangs. You can order them from here:

I distribute for Lacey, and I always thought that wig had a lot of potential. I had it for sale at my booth last year, but no one really even gave it a second look. So, I decided to keep it for myself and wear it at this past Dragon*Con =)

That being said, I've actually had a lacefront Wolverine wig done by my regular stylist here in Atlanta (Paul Trantham at Steve Hightower Hair) previously. I've worked with him for a couple years and basically the way it goes is: I find the base wig/hair parts/references, he works his styling magic, I pack it up and ship it out. I found the lacefront base at my favorite local hair shop (So Good in Duluth, GA), and I ordered the sideburns from Lacey Wigs (also have lace backing). As long as you take your time lining up the sideburns and the wig, they blend together pretty well. This is the only photo I've tracked down thus far:

I know there are more, but sometimes these things elude us. I'll keep looking though. I'm pretty sure this guy is a member here, so perhaps he'll pipe in with some more photos.

Thanks gtsqfashions! I guess I should have been more specific in my requirements though. I'm willing to spend up to $250 for the wig and chop combo but my stipulations are that it has to look natural and screen accurate like it did in X-Men Origins.

He looks WAY out of it in this photo. Almost like Logan hit the hooka before suiting up.
:lol
