Dark Souls: Quelaag's Furysword finished build

Hello
I want to present my 2 month build of this lovely sword from my favorite game of all time.

It's made of out wood, distortions filled out with wood putty, then painted with rustic wood stain.

This is what i was using for reference and templates:


So I've started by drawing template on few A4 sheets.


That was traced on wood and cut out using that electric saw.


This is cleaned blade aka middle part of sword, above mock up made out of foam.


I don't have any photos of two addition layers that sandwiches blade and got glued to it, but this is more clean up on and little scaling showing how big it is.


Few close up on while cleaning blade and spikes on it.


Here it's dried up after using wooden stain.


And this is finished sword.

Hey there amazing build!!! We don't see enough dark souls cosplay out there, if anyone is interested I just began converting the weapon files from the game into obj to work with pepakura designer my thread is the dark souls weapons thread I'll be gauging interest there
