Dimensions of Star Trek Communicator Badge?

Hi,

i m not sure about the right Dimensions of the different Star Trek Communicator Badge e.g. TNG, Voyager and All Good Things...

does someone have the correct size props and can give me the dimmensions?

QMX made metal replicas from the show used molds. they look great and their not that expensive at 15 to 20 USD a piece. i know you are looking for measurements but i thought i would let you know about these. it might be useful. if you still want measurements let me know and i'll dig them up and post them in a day or two.

The QMX website lists the size of their Voyager combadge as 4.76cm x 4.5cm and the TNG combadge as 5.08cm x 4.13cm.

i dont like metall, they are too shiny. in the show, they were also in matt silver and gold.

I would also recommend the Roddenberry combadges, though the DS9/VOY/Movie version is sold out right now. I'm not sure if the TNG version is still regularly offered, unfortunately. Perhaps if they get enough requests they will revive it?

Much more accurate than the QMX things that are too shiny, too heavy, and incorrectly painted (the TNG one).

Hi Reeves,

Apollo is right, Roddenberry is making the best combadges. The dimensions from the TNG version is 49 mm high, 42 mm wide and about 8 mm thick.

Edit: Still looking for the exact dimensions to make one myself. No, a bought one wouldn't do. Because I want to fit electronic in it myself.
