I recently did a bulk order of Heathcoat Fabrics spacer mesh as used for the vests in the Dredd 2012 film. This fabric is fairly difficult to come by and quite expensive to ship due to its thickness. I needed some for myself, and the only way to get it was to buy a 12 meter roll!
After portioning it out to other Judges, I have 5 vests worth left over.
The price is $72.40 per vest shipped in the US. This gets you a 36" x 32" piece of the mesh fabric, enough to follow the pattern at Studiocreations.com (made from a screen used vest) with a couple of inches of extra space to make the front/back longer if needed.
The mesh will be shipped rolled in a mailing tube to avoid creasing.
This does not include webbing, trim, hardware, patterns etc... just the fabric.
