Forgive me for asking an obvious question, but "Why?!?!"
Surely you knew how many people had ordered, when you asked your glove-makers to produce them :confused

The order was put in so long ago that it was an initial "test" run. By the time I advertised the prototype, I got several other orders, more than the first run had accounted for. I immediately requested a larger run, but the factory (so as not to get things mixed up) doesn't like adding on to existing runs, but created a new order... which is now being made. Sucks, but c'est la vie.

Ok here is my 2 cents, to be honest the design of the gloves are very nice. The gauntlets still need to be about 2" shorter but that is an easy fix. The real problem is the leather they are made from. The leather used is very thin so the gloves are very light and flimsy. I guess that I'm use to wearing my old school GT gloves which are made of a nice thick leather. The stiching is great and they have a nice liner inside.

Now this is just my 2 cents where the rest of you guys may think I'm off my rocker:wacko and these are the best ESB gloves you have ever owned.

I still think Indy did a good job on the overall design of the glove but with a thicker leather these could have been over the top...:love

Those look amazing! I tried several times to make Vader gloves and finally gave up and ordered them from Custom Props in Argentina. They did a great job ... my costume is white, and they even custom made them in white leather for me.

Some good news! The new prototype is finished and nearly perfect (I'm just making sure there is an additional gusset added). Here is a teaser shot:

This run should be finished and ready to ship by early/mid February.

The new gloves will be made in a thicker leather and the extra gusset is a new addition to the updated pattern.

That figures!! 3 Weeks after I 'gave in' and got a refund, there is some positive movement with the ESB Vader gloves... :rolleyes

Oh well, c'est la vie... I hope that the positive news continues, and that some nice ESB Vader gloves are born out of this extended, sad mess. :unsure
