I've got some pix from a costume exhibit in NYC here that might help. They're nothing great, but couldn't hurt. Good luck with your build.

If someone were to make 3D models of the helmet and armor clips, and the helmet connector, and put them up on Shapeways, that would help a lot of builds... Particularly, one set of helmet bits at full scale and one set at 85%, for those modding the Rubie's/Target helmet.

i did some "measurements" of the aerator from an anovos bucket. the base (red) is 3 american nickels stacked vertically, the middle step (green) is 2 and a half pennies wide and tall, the top part (blue) is a ring roughly 11mm diameter and 2mm tall. the hole (yellow) is big enough to insert a pencil, and when measured from from the very top of the ring is about 1/4inch deep. the purple part is a "hole" as deep as the yellow. if someone has a micrometer feel free to post these to exact mm measurements, and if anyone is going to model one for 3d printing i included the thin grey lines as a referance that you must use the center and make a > for the angles to be accurate, and the white lines simply show that part is as large as the diameter of the middle hole. hope it helps
