ok so i posted this b4 the 405th got its update and i wasn't quite done with it but now i can't find it so im reposting it.
this is the first time i have ever tried to do anything like this. i've been drooling over suits of armor and weapons online for like a year or two now so i finally decided to break down and try to make my own. im not a very artistic person and i don't do things like this.... ever but i had to have this **** so yea. it took about 4 months to do and had alot of mistakes along the way. this is the end result im proud of it, and soon i will make the rest of the armor.

kinda looked like a tron helm when it was upside down and backwards hahahah
end result of pepstage was kinda lumpy and lopsided, hey we can buff that out right? (no clue what hell awaited me in the bondo stage)...
safety first resin time
after resin, bondo, spot puddy, and sooooooooooooo much sanding. my fingers still hurt.
when i made the helm i made the neck hole way to small. so instead of trying to make it bigger i just HM01(cut) the whole thing in half. and put a hinge on top of the helm. i know it looks kinda sloppy and half ass but i didnt want to make the hole in the bottom of the helm huge.
time for paint. i think the paint helped alot. i used like 3 coats of primer, then the silver, then the fire engine red, and then flat black on top of that.

added the first layer of the visor and maybe abit too much battle damage. the silver parts around the mouth paint job got a bit miffed but i'll fix that later..
