First time sculpting a mask. The Silence from Dr Who

For better or worse, I am a self taught hack at most things. Sculpting is no different. Sites like this one help a lot and I thank everyone that has asked a question before me and those that answered them. I have always wanted to mold my own masks. I have molded in the past but not something I made so this is going to be fun. Anyway, Fist time out, I am working on a personalized version of The Silence from Doctor Who. Should be fun. Here is what I have so far. Molding with Van Aken sulfer free oil based clay. Its a front only sculpt so far but mostly because I don't have enough clay or the right bust to make a full one. Gonna bite me later when I want to fix that problem.




Edit: Just saw the sculpt contest. This is not my attempt at an entry. But awesome contest! Just started looking at all the entries.
