Was stoked and found the target exclusive on the pegs in the wild (literally NEVER happens to me).
Got him out of the package and quickly banged out a review.
Then I got to really looking at it.
Hrrmmmm...
Not super accurate. Close! But I wanted to make some... adjustments.
Starting with the beskar ingots that, like most hasbro products, have the details in the sculpt but need paint to bring them out.
Quick wash of mr. Hobby soot, and boom. Much better.
While I had the paint out, gave a good slathering to the Bergman pistol. Yup. Better.
Noticed the magnetic detonators were void of color. Tamiya transparent red dabbed gently with a toothpick. Bingo.
Then the biggest gripe for me...
His old right leg armor. It had... some... weathering. But needed improvement.
At first I was just dry brushing the soot on but soon realized that big welded scar needed to be sculpted up with texture and paint.
Hasbro just had a silver dot.
Busted out some squadron white putty and got the right volume in my hand (about a boogers worth lol) smashed it on his armor and started whittling away with a jewel screwdriver.
Topped it off with chrome molotow and a wash around the edges with soot.
BLAMMO!
I am satisfied.
