Google Searches

Is there a way to make the board non-searchable from search engines?

It seems like this would bring unwanted attention to the Forum.

I don't recall ever getting RPF results from my Google searches but now it happens all the time.

Think we have already been over this a couple of times in various threads, so I will just summarize. Yes, the public parts of the board are once again visible to search engines. While the junkyard was initially included, and one might still find a few references to the JY, new threads there are not being indexed and non-members can't access the junkyard.

Yes, we know that this makes some nervous about us being "found out" but it is our feeling that all those we MIGHT try to foolishly hide from already know about us (studios and licensees) and by eliminating our presence on searach engines, we only ensure the death of this site and the promotion of all the splinter sites that are indexed on google.

Come to think of it I think thats how I discovered the RPF in the first place. I Googled "replica props" and found the site. Not indexing on search engines would be a bad idea. Just my 2 cents.
