Hello, again!

My latest render is from the manga BLAME! by Tsutomu Nihei, also known for NOISE, Biomega, and a few other awesome works. His art style is incredible, and most of the comics have little dialog, replaced with stunning character and enviroment renders. I highly recommend his work!

ANYWAYS, the style means that the GBE is never drawn exactly the same way throughout the books, so it's hard to find consistency. That being said, I used images from the comics, the netflix movie, the super rare replica they gave out years ago, and other sources to come up with something that is, IMO, an accurate representation of his weapon.

Again, this will be 3D printed and finished by hand. Thanks for looking!

With huge delay, that's awesome work you did, outstanding !!
Did you do only one for your personal collection, or you were thinking of making a small run (maybe you have already) ?
For Blame! fans that would definitly worth the shot, not much nice 3D prints can be found around...

I have not yet printed this as I'm saving up for a large format resin printer. Once I have that, I'll be doing lots of runs of the various replicas I've modeled over the last couple of years.

I own the limited edition replica as well and would be interested in one of yours. Are you going to try and include any of the features from the manga?

If you were local I'd lone you mine to scan It would be really cool to get one that came apart.

Where can I buy this

This is awesome; I've loved Blame! and Nihei's other works for years and would love a replica of Killy's blaster. I had no idea there was even a limited edition replica version that had been released in the past, either. Yours looks great though, man, and I'd definitely be interested in purchasing one of them from you when you're able to start printing:)

The limited edition is nice! I was just 300 pieces I believe and released when the books were first published.
The following site has some pretty good pics of a prop replica;

Or you can put in Gravitational Beam Emitter in Japanese which is: 重力ビームエミッタ in your google search and do an image search.
