Hi I wonder if there is a member out there who can enlighten me as to the story of these coins I have obtained

Now I know these were issued in UK 2001 by ASDA stores UK, as the Philosophers stone set being the Gringotts book and 24 coins with a further four places for swaps 28 coins if the final page was utilised. This set was only issued in UK.
There was another set issued in France and the far east as the Chamber of secrets set also 24 coins +the four swop page. The difference was approx seven coins were different subjects and several of the subjects were presented differently.
I cannot show this set as they rarely appear and when they do they are quite pricey as most things Harry Potter, I have seen one on E-bay asking £500.00 which for an item designed as a child's collection item is not justifiable.
However the other day I purchased the Chamber of secrets full 24 coin collection in book very reasonably priced ......but there is a twist to the tale

The coins apparently have been 24k gold plated. I am not the collector who goes by value as I aquired them as a gift to a young female member of my clan, but if anyone can enlighten me as to their provenance I would be grateful
