I have this lifesize Yoda head that I believe is made from Silicone but I need to repair some sections where it has broken away. Any idea what I can use to repair it? I know it's going to be a time consuming job but I just need an indication of how to repair it.

Thanks

You can spend A LOT of time trying to repair it, Use Silpoxy adhesive to fill in and smooth gaps

or...

make a mold of what you have,

cast it in something rigid.

repair the cast.

Make a mold of the repaired cast

If you are attached to the original, and have the coin, have someone who repairs them, though they will probably do the same. Practising on something old, that you hold dear, is a terrible idea

Yeah you could brush on RD407 Mask making latex, probably take a few layers and you might want to stipple on a final layer to avoid brush strokes and help match texture. Monster Makers offers several sizes of RD407.

This is 100% for sure foam latex. Originally it was used with the hopes it would last long enough to get on film. These days silicone is used for many reasons, and is also much more durable. I've had foam latex appliances that crumbled to dust even under ideal conditions. I agree with the post that recommends molding & casting a new one. No matter how good the repairs, the crumbling will continue.
