Help with Wonder Woman Costume

Hi everyone!
My girlfriend and I will be attending Wizard World Philly in just a few days. Her costume is finally done but we are just having one slight problem. The leg guards keep falling down when she walks. They are strapped on around the ankle, calve and knee but I guess the force from walking just pushes it down. Would anyone have any recommendations or ideas for a solution to this problem? Thanks a bunch!

What are the straps like? Velcro? String?

The top one is just a leather strap and the mid calf one is a leather strap that straps into a brass stud. It's pretty tight.

Have you tried putting foam padding on the inside of the front?

What we ended up doing was buying spirit gum cheap from Amazon. It's a skin adhesive that we put on the leather strap around the back of the leg and the top and it stays put.
