i want to build a working version of the hydra motorcycle used in captain america the first avenger. i have some idea of how i would go about doing it basicly a fiberglass body laid over a honda crf450x dirt bike. they used a honda crf250x but it has essentially the same dimensions. i have done a little work in fiberglass but nothing big like this and im just wondering how hard would this be.
thanks

i think the hardest part for me would be building the fiberglass body if i do get this project off the ground i will defiantly put up a post here

THNX :cool
any idea how i would attach it to the body i was thinking of using a spine or some kind of overlapping thing and the bike is water cooled im going to have to figure out a way to get air into the radiator i might have to install a fan

first of all - what about angle of front wheel? how i see it - make right angle - than front wing for wheel. then all the rest. i think you need make all fiberglass parts first - and then make changes with cooler and radiator. btw - it's very not comfortable pose for riding...

i am also planning on using the two hydra wepons that extend out of the front of the bike as my high beam headlights by fitting some pretty high powered led clusters

i know it wont be that comfortable but im not going to ride it a ton just back and forth from work on nice days and i only work a mile away also i have been looking at more photos and it seems they already figured out a way to get air into the radiator

You need real plan. step by step. if you try to do all thing at the same time - nothing good would not happened))
good idea about led lights. suggestion - use led lights with lenses. or xenon lights. all the rest - gives bad result.

ya right now its still in early planning stages as i have other projects going on like my computer and my computer desk build. and i think about a million things at once so thats why im kind of rattling them off like this. its my way of starting to form a plan getting ideas down first.

its actually not so hard, as u think. really. you need just start. take pictures from different camera angles. look at them long time) and you will understand what to do and how. just trust yourself)
