Inflatable mannequins..

We have a few of those inflatable manniquiens that we use in our haunted house. i tried using one of them for a dummy to put in my pred suit, but you just cant make them rigid enough, we actually popped one trying to get them to the firmness of a duct tape dummy. In my opinion they arent that good, the pred suit weighs to much and the dummy just folds in on itself, however if you were to rig up a metal stand and hang the pred suit and only have this inflatable as a filler to fill out your pred suit they should work just fine. even after having a metal or pipe stand youd still hafta have something to support the head, theres no way this inflatable will hold it up, just think of this as a human body with out the bones, basically a meat sack with no support. But a metal, or pipe stand isnt all that hard to make, theres a couple examples here on the lair somewhere. With my setup i use an aluminum square tube frame that supposrts all the weight and i use one of those inflatables to give my hangin pred some bulk, otherwise he just looks like a deflated balloon hanging by his head. Hope this helps atleast alittle bit----Joe

One of our mannequins is one of those 72" inflatable ones. We use it mainly as a filler, and wrapped it in duct tape for added support. We have a metal pole attatched to a tripod shoved up through the dummy and into the head, and we sealed the holes for the pole with bicycle inner tube sealer. Holds the air great, but again, it's mainly for filler. It'll hold it's basic shape until we slap our heavier backpack on it.

I'd post pics, but we still haven't saved our camera and pics on it from it's recent bout with our daughter and the toilet

I just ordered a 32 inch male bust that I will be adding a head to. I wanted something smaller to keep the head and armor on. It was cheap, $27.00 with shipping. If its something your intrested in, let me know and ill get you the sellers info and some pictures when it gets to my place.
