James' Doctor Who Cybermats

Here are my scratch built Cybermats as seen in the Doctor Who stories Tomb of the Cybermen and the Wheel in Space. They are exactly 12" long as per the originals, made on fibreglass and aluminum.

I started off sculpting the individual heads, that being my specialist area. Then I used digital composites to measure the exact size and position of the tails, teeth and antennae. They are fully posable and if any R/C experts are interested I'd love to have future ones motorized!

These were favourites of mine as a child, and so I have put 110% into perfecting every detail. The only changes were to fix the symmetry. I hope you like them!

Although this post is nearly two years old Ive recently discovered some 3d files to print the head and am commencing a radio controlled build myself.
Yours look amazing.

Hated these little sods when I was a kid. They could get you in places the Cybermen couldn't. Great to see.
