Ah, the old "I'll ship it by the weekend" excuse. You'll notice he always says this early in the week to buy him more time. It took me almost a year getting all kinds of excuses and me threatening him over and over before I got my product. He even sent me pics of the product 6 months in! I told him to just send it to me as is and I would finish it. Nope. Took another 6 months.
My personal thoughts on Wolf's business practices are a little different than most here on the RPF. I don't think he ever intended to screw anyone over. He gets in over his head then panics. Enter the excuses. On a whole, I think people do get their products but it takes constant harassment on your part. The more persistant you are the better results you'll have.

ah, the ol' Drac helm...Took me almost 2 years and 2 visits by some good people in Seattle to get me this:
Wolf does good work, but man, he gets overwhelmed and it's game over. I hope you get your stuff...I should add that the helm was supposed to be wearable and I paid for that. He delivered the above non-wearable helm. I guess I should be lucky I got anything from him, but still...

I believe it's gullible not Cullable. I've seen that used before. Where does it come from?
Anyway, don't wait till the last minute with Paypal. If you do, you might end up with $0.

The original that he cast was on the small side, so he didn't have much to work with. It was initially done in several parts, with the backpiece being sculpted by him to match. (Still no excuse, if your agreement was for a wearable helm. That should have been communicated better.)
I don't remember the seemingly solid base that I see in the picture, though. I wasn't helping him at that point. I had only gone over a few times to help him finish them up and get them out the door as a favor to a local.

Quite true... Most of the SW props I have I got from Wolf over the years. I worked at his place to try to help him out getting things done, but i dont know how much help i really was. I was learning.

Thats not always the case even members with Great rep's and go rouge and just rip people off one day. Just As Ollie aka OVDH over on SHH Ripped me off and 3 other people. It's a roll of the dice anywhere you buy your going to hit snake eyes at some point. Just hope you only lose a few bucks and not a few thousand:angry its all any of us can hope for.

Paypal does not always come through. I won a replica ring ebay back in late October and I was told to wait two weeks before shipping. Well, I did not expect anything because the guy's feedback was flawless. A month goes by and not only did I not ever recieve the ring, but I never had any reply to any email I sent. I looked up the guy's ebay page and I noticed three negatives from others saying they never got their merchandise either. So I instantly report to ebay, nothing happens. Another month goes by, and in late December I finally get a reply telling me to wait until February. I tell him hell no I want a refund and then , no reply. I report him to paypal (under the deadline) and all I get is a "Your request has been sent, we're looking into it" message. Fast forward to February I don't see my ring, or a reply to any message I sent in the two months. What I do get is an email from paypal saying the guy's account is closed. Apparently to get out of refunding he closed the bank account connected to his paypal account. Screwing about 8-9 other people by my count.
I really don't know what was going on with paypal that took two months, but it definately took longer than the cut off time for a dispute.

unless by cullible you mean you like to be beat over the head with a club...?
The base of my Drac helm also contains a leather slot which holds a replica of dracs ring and a plaque w/ edition # (worthless but still kinda fun), etc...The helm does get some great comments from those who see it and some day I'll convert it myself to a wearable one...someday...

Good news for those who care. Yesterday I recieved my Claws! "Stephen" came through. Everything was there to make a decent pair of claws, plus some extras. They were made in some kind of sturdy resin. The cast had very minor flaws...so, talentless as I may be, even I should be able to finish them. :lol
By the way...I think you guys are right about him being this "Wolf Morgan" guy....I think he also runs the "Hero gear" site. Because the items offered on Hero Gear were exactly the same that were on auction when I bought the claws on eBay....
Anyhoo, He came through for me. I think he´s a good guy, who just gets too overwhelmed too often....

I saw you posting a thread inquiring about "Hero Gear"...As said above it´s probably one and the same guy who sold me my claws, so....and as stated in your thread by a fellow member.....If you think it´s worth it, take the risk. I mean, It´s 25 Dollars for a pair of claws (plus extras). The quality is actually ok....Not as crisp as I might have hoped for....but hey; only 25 Dollars, right? :rolleyes
