Large scale Y-Wing

Its not often I go back to an old model, but when I scratch-built this years ago, I was never satisfied with the ion cannon. At the time, I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it, since it would have delayed finishing it and at the time I just wanted to get it done.

With the advent of 3D resin printers and my 3D modelling skills improving, I decided to improve my old build.

There isn't a lot of information on Oerlikon MG FF, and the studio scale part wasn't very detailed either. So, with the limited info, I made my own in my required scale. The nice thing, is that I can scale this greeblie up pretty big for other uses as well.

Thanks for all the kudos dude. I've learned a lot more since I built that thing. I know the ion guns aren't supposed to be black, but since this isn't either studio scale or accurate, I figured...what the hell.

The old part looked really cool as it was and could make a cool alternate weapon for a variant, but the new part sure looks a lot more accurate
