Hey guys, I'm making Ed's scissor hands, FDM 3D printing. This is the v2. before I got some of the Michal Jackson auction photos, so there are somethings that are wrong. Feel free to point out.
The thumb is screwed in place, all the other fingers are can be removed by twisting it.
There gloves are being made for cosplay, so, because of my chubby hands I had to add a cut in with magnets. That is the same reason why some of the bottom parts of the finger blades have an U shape, so the fingers can bend more easily and is confortable to be used for long periods of time.
Right hand cover is being completely remade. The index finger is bolted into place by two m3 screws. I pretend to remake the "bones" using m2 headless screws to make it thinner and "repairable", because cosplaying has a lot of wear and tear.
The rust and oxidized spots are the real deal.
I looked for some reference photos but they are a little bit hard to find. If anyone has some pictures of the real deal, feel free to post them .
