Mannequin modification Help

Hey all,

Iv'e just bought one of these Mannequins - eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d?r

I plan on using it to make a Life size Freddy Krueger and i want to know the best advice on making modifications to it, i presume it's made of Fiberglass (i haven't picked it up yet) and what i plan to do is change the Pose of it slightly, for instance the right leg i want straighter and the right arm will need to be cut at the elbow and probably the shoulder so it's bent and the glove/hand points towards the face, and the head needs to be straighter... more forward facing.

So i can cut it no problem, i then need advice on what materials anyone would recommend for rebuilding the cut pieces, should i get somekind of resin to glue it back and then use fiberglass sheets to fill in any holes?

Any advise would be good.

Thanks.

After i cut it up i piston it and hold it together with super glue and zip kicker. Then i cut up fiberglass Matt into strips. Embed the strips in epoxy glue then place them over the cut joints. Once dry you can do soothe later of fiberglass Mat and epoxy if you want. It will be a very strong repair.

Thanks for the advise, what do you mean by piston it and zip kicker as iv'e never heard the terms before, i'm new to all this as you can tel lol

Piston should be position...lol. And zip kicker its just a spray that instantly cures crazy glue.

Thanks for that, at least i now know what piston is lol as for zip kicker iv'e never heard of that stuff before but then again i guess iv'e never looked for it.

Cheers though:)
