Mission Impossible NOC List

Here’s my attempt to match the fake NOC list taken after Golitsyn is stabbed in Mission Impossible. One of my favorite macguffins, both this version and the later real clear version from Langley.

Took a long time to find a 3.5 disc to match, and unfortunately the metal shroud lacks the word “formatted,” but close enough. Testors enamel red and black, knocked down, smeared, and diluted by isopropyl 70%

Working on the Gideon Bible from the drake hotel next.

Couple of simple props I’ve always wanted.

This is the best I could do on the Langley. It’s actually a TDK disc that I swapped the shroud tab on. For this there was a reference photo from prop shop that helped. Verbatim 230 discs are so hard to find to begin with, I’ve never found a clear one. It unfortunately and ironically says “formatted” on the plastic case itself. Since I only have one I am fearful of using acetone on it to try and remove, as it might cloud the plastic.
