Modified MR Stormtrooper Blaster (E-11)

A few years ago, I picked up a Master Replicas “Stormtrooper Blaster” (aka E-11) from a fellow board member that was sans paperwork, plaque, or display stand. This was great as it allowed me to modify it without the guilt of destroying a collector’s piece.

I lightly weathered the piece, removed the orange plug, replaced the stock scope rail, added the cylinders over the clip housing, and mounted an original Hengstler counter.

Very nice. I still have mine in the original box having only opened once when I received it from MR. I like what you did with yours but wouldn't want to mess up the collector value to make the same changes.

How did you mount the counter? I've got a replica counter, but am not sure the best way to mount it without causing damage (like glueing).

Great job, looks fantastic MR E-11 is a very cool and pretty accurate piece, too bad their released version is so bare bones. Wish they had released their proto with all the greeblies on it.

You can make a T-shaped metal bracket to hold the Hengstler counter, this is how I did it for my conversion. You can attach it to the holes of the scope rail and you can use double tape for the counter or screws. :)
