Your wiring is sure a lot neater than mine. I just kind of stuff everything in

I find it much easier to make changes or trouble shoot issues when the wiring is neat. Also makes it easier to glue the halves together without the wiring getting in the way.

Here are some pictures of it lighted.

I did not have a chance to dim each sections with higher value resistors to get a nice even and realistic scale look. I will be doing that tonight.

As always the LEDs are too bright and need to be dimmed while viewing them all on at the same time. This is tough to do during assembly.

Some of the pictures show a bluish tint but the lighting is all white except for the engines which is a bluish white tone.

Wow! Fantastic! I had not ventured into the lighting kit universe when I built mine several years ago. But I did suffer months of painstaking airbrushing to create aztec panels with a myriad of washes, dull coats and lighter metallics.

Very cool!

The lighting on the landing bay name plates is very impressive

Great googly moogly those last couple shots are right out of the show. Great work!

Thanks for the nice compliments.

In those pictures the lighting is a little too bright but I will be using dimmer controls to dim all of the Fiber Optic and the side SMDs independently of each other. I first added some higher value resistors to those sections to get the lighting mostly consistent with each other and then using the dimmer controls I can vary the lighting for each of the sections to get it as close as possible to the way it was shown in the series.

Hi Invar,

I like your Pegasus. The detailing looks great!!

Next up for mine will be a dark wash for the panel lines then the clear coat....

That's going to look amazing next to your Galactica!

Thanks for following and all the nice compliments!

I also have the BSG TOS that I did a few months ago so that will make all 3!!
Moebius classic 1978 battlestar galactica build

I still have to dim down the lighting but that will happen when I have the base done. The dimmers will be in the base.

I'm looking to bring all 3 models to Replicon 29 Scale Model Show on May 4th an IPMS sanctioned event.

Clear coat done!!
Putting the guns on this week and have to fill the ambient light drill holes with micro crystal clear.
Base almost finished too.......Should be all done by the weekend.

This is one of the best battle star build I've ever seen. The wiring inside is clean and well organized.
The lighting effect is fantastic. Now I'm feeling that I want to throw away my present build and tackle another star cruiser.

Congrats!
