mold release for silicone??

i'm making a 2 part mold for the first time - i'm using a silicone rubber and i'm not sure what to use between the layers to stop them sticking - all the mold release on amazon (uk) seemes to be silicone based and not sure if that will work - so what should i be using?

The most easy and cheap way, is to use a bar of soap, take a brush a little bit of water, make a soapy sludge and brush it on the side of the silicone mold.
and easy to wash off

I've used liquid dish soap with good results as well. I usually dilute it about 4 to 1 water to soap and paint it on with a brush.

i use vaseline also
