so guys I am slowly putting together a ww2 cap outfit and the vintage paratroop boots I have leave really bad scuff marks on the floor. I really like the boots but I don't want to go to a con and leave a trail of black marks behind me lol

does anyone know how I could fix this? I'm not sure..i thought about gluing some kind soul onto it. but it wouldn't really help the sides...unless I am really careful when I walk around

its really bumming me out, cause I really happy when I got them

thanks for any help

Maybe you can take them to a shoe place and have the soles replaced?

Not sure where you are, but in the UK you could take em to Timpsons.

Depends on what kind of rubber they're made off...some will not scuff floors (what kind of flooring you have?) and others will make your life a nightmare. Better to replace them.

For what it's worth, at least one pair of Chris Evans' boots had a modern micro-Vibram sole:
