wow i applaud ur dedication man.
I was up-in-the-air about the finish of the watchband as well. I agree, on the kangaroo, it looks gold-colored. But I started wondering if that might be reflections of surrounding colors (the wall, the kangaroo, etc), along with effects the ambient lighting (the bulb in the lamp looks to be incandescent, which would naturally have a warm, yellowish color). At the 'yourprops' link in my previous post (for my watch), the last photo is taken from a Blu-ray screencap of Butch holding the watch, & the watchband clearly looks silver/chrome/steel to me.Cheers for that Nexus6. You're not wrong about the cost of these watches and I think your advice is pretty much how it's gonna go for me, unless I get an 'according to Hoyle' miracle
However, I do love the fact that they used a 'Trench' watch which syncs in with the story.
Your watch looks awesome BTW, nice one! I notice that your strap is silver. I couldn't work out from the very short screen time that the watch with the strap gets whether it's gold or silver. Looks gold when it's sitting on the kangaroo but silver when he puts it on...
Either way, you've done a great job there - very jealous!
Once I've managed to get the watch sorted I'll post some pics.
Cheers
BOOM.Yep, sounds like you've got the right idea - best of both worlds! Don't suppose you remember the amazon seller do you? Struggling to find more than 4 pages' worth on amazon.co.uk. Wondered whether they might ship to the UK.
Thanks for your help and pics!
NICE!!!I think you're spot on. Just been trying to get a screen grab of when Butch picks up the watch. Here it is in all its stainless steel glory...
