My new head sculpt

Thought I would share some pictures of my new head sculpt. Still need to do some more detailing and stuff. I am leaving the mandibles off just like the movie ones and make a plaster cast of the front of the head to sculpt them on as well as sculpt bios on.

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! I love the crown you've put on him. To me it looks like he's already got some personality in the face.

On my first attempt at sculpting a Predator head I did it without the mandibles like the studio did. I thought it was quite helpful for setting up the cheeks and the jawline, instead of having to sculpt around the membranes between the mandibles.

How far a long is he?

Thanks for the comments, Since these pictures I have done some more detailing but I'm not done yet. I started a couple other sculpts and set this aside for a little bit. I should be starting back on it shortly

Not yet, I just finished molding and casting a couple new parts. I hope to finish the head up next week.

Ok, well I think it's done. At least this part is anyway. I'm making a mold of the face right now to sculpt the mandibles on.

Wicked. The eyes make him look pissed and the cheekbones are perfectly placed. Love the crown too. Can't wait to see what the mandibles look like.
