Well gang, I've been here for a while now, and while I have enjoyed reading the posts, I figured it was about time that I show off my pieces and be a part of the community as opposed to simply lurking...
Most of these are replacements for pieces I lost in Hurricane Katrina back in 2005, but this collection, unlike the previous, won't be left behind! The Phase Pistol, TWOK Phaser, and TOS Phaser are all DST/AA Pieces. The TSFS Spock Phaser is a Richard Coyle built up for me, and the Assault Phaser is a Master Replicas.
The Phase Pistol I've kept stock, although I did match up the silver finish with Vallejo Paints Game Color Silver and retouched the awful orange emitter into something more presentable.
This is actually one of two Phase Pistols I own, as the original set I obtained was 50% pre-broken. Because of that, I now have TWO fully functional Phase Pistols and one functioning Communicator. Ehh, win some, you lose some.
The TWOK Phaser is 100% stock and will probably remain that way; sue me, I like it just the way it is!
The TOS Phaser is like the TWOK Phaser; 100% stock, although that's going to be changing soon since I found the Federation Phaser webpage and their impressive parts catalog for the DST TOS Phaser.
This piece... Out of all of my Phasers, I think this one is my end-all be-all favorite... This is a Richard Coyle TSFS Phaser that has been reworked and finished for me by Eric Nagy of The Prop Department. The Phaser I is a fully separate piece, complete with its own vfx and sound.
The VFX are nice, and will light up a darkened room QUITE nicely!
My Master Replicas Assault Phaser... I don't think I have to say anything about this piece, as it's been covered QUITE nicely here and elsewhere... I will say though that it's a low number on the Limited Edition.
No Phaser set is complete with Communicators! All are DST/AA pieces. Admittedly, the one Communicator I'm wanting to add is harder to find than anything else in my collection... I'd sell my right arm for the STIII Communicator right about now!
I just had to get them all on and lit up! Timing was a bit of a bitch though, but it was worth it.
Next up for my collection? These...
Stay tuned, and thanks for letting me be a part of the community!
